Allhays is a spacious family house built in the late 1930s. It is set in its own extensive and peaceful gardens which provide breathtaking views over the wild and romantic remoteness of Talland Bay. Just a few minutes drive or a rather longer walk from the bustling tourist and fishing centres of Polperro and Looe. There are many delightful National Trust properties within easy reach as well as a number of lush sub tropical gardens including the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan . The spectacular Eden Project is just a short drive away. A little further afield are the St. Ives Tate Gallery the National Marine Aquarium at Plymouth and the new National Maritime Museum at Falmouth. Our aim at Allhays is to provide you with a warm welcome a comfortable bedroom and breakfasts guaranteed to set you up for the day. We serve our own Aga baked breads our own jams and marmalade and wherever possible depending on demand free range eggs from our own hens. We do not provide dinner and are not licensed but there is a wide choice of restaurants to choose from locally and we will be happy to recommend one to you. Each of our four bedrooms has a private bathroom or shower room en suite two have spectacular views over Talland Bay. Allhays is strictly non smoking and we do not accommodate dogs. |
